But I'm intentionally limiting myself to have to work harder; I don't need gears for what I want to get out of cycling, therefore I don't have them.
I feel that buying loads of carbon stuff is just a way of achieving the same goals, but paying for it to be easier rather than working to get there.
Plus your Concorde is rad, and certainly doesn't warrant replacing!
No one that isn't pro "needs" a carbon frame, just like you don't want gears!
