• Yeah I've got Pacenti... can't remember what they're called, the 24mm wide rims anyway... and I run GP4000s on them too. Christ, the first time I changed a tube on the road was horrible. Right at the end of the Ride London hurricane, the sun had just come out for a bit.. rolled out of Green Park to go home, straight onto a shard of glass. Pinched both my tubes, and finally managed to get another one in after a kind donation from a passing rider. Having lived with them for almost a year now, I've discovered more of a knack to changing tubes with them - biggest tip is to have really solid levers. The Park Tools sort of lever won't cut it, you need a good chunky thing. I've got a set of yellow levers that must be about an inch wide.
Anyway... the wheels do ride really well. Mine are built on Spin hubs, which are nice too. Bit noisy, but not as bad as eg Mavic or Chris King hubs. Built at Rat Race Cycles in Nunhead.
Anyone use another tyre with them? One that might be easier to change?
