Jupiter 9 85mm
..have never heard of these until now.
Just had a look - ha, the lens itself looks pretty "mean", images render very beautifully, it seems!Also: yes, getting up early definately helps for good pictures. The light is different, and the fact that everything is less busy at the early hours helps me a lot to get into a 'mode' where I can really focus (no pun intended).

I got up at 4:30am to go shoot the second set so I'm glad some people like them...
They're all on a pentax slr with mostly a cheap 19-35mm zoom and a Jupiter 9 85mm (which I just recently picked up for 1/2 what they normally go for)
