Just base bar currently. Need to discuss. I tend to wrap my fingers over the end of the extensions so not really necessary tbh.

• #328
or for the extensions too?

What are they?

Extension bars @mdcc_tester. I thought you knew your stuff?

Look like 3d prints from a maker bot from here.
If so, great use of tech, bet they weigh of nothing. -

Opinion varies. RaceWare were planning to 3D print them (not sure if they've started yet), but when I was chatting with the machinist he concurred with me that it's a turning job every day. Of course, people who own hammers tend to see every problem as a nail :-)

Yeah, 3D printed. They need sanding and sealing but no time before this morning.

Got drawings for them @mdcc_tester?

Long distance mode
Still looks alright from the wind's perspective though.

What bottle set up is that? Is it attached to the top of the steerer?
-

King stem cap mount

Looks like a King Cage Top Cap mount to me. Fitted backwards. Gah, too slow.

Awesome, thanks. It looks like that might be a pretty good setup for me, I tried a BTA bottle mounted on the aerobars in front of the pads but it was really uncomfortable so I got rid of it... I've got a bit more space behind the pads.
Also, what bottle? L0oks like a bite valve so you don't have to remove the bottle to drink (which was the other big downside of my previous set up).

Needs aero bottle & bottle cage
-
• #345
Too small volume, and it doesn't really matter between my arms
-
• #346
Oh wait... it's your spares bottle. In your first pic, there is something on the workbench behind the bottle that made me think it had a straw and bite valve... oops.
Interesting idea to put the spares there - I think I'd prefer a bottle with straw BTA so that I don't have to move to drink and then stash the spares behind the saddle.

I won't be, it's the only bottle shaped thing I had to hand for a photo. Considering not taking any spares at all though

F11/10 in two weeks. National 100 also looking likely.

nice time congrats.

I got one of those King Cage stem cap mounts and first impressions (110k ride) are that it's really great. I much preferred it to my other BTA setup which always felt unstable when I tried to grab the bottle, and I even found my self preferentially reaching for that bottle over the others.
Good recommendation, thanks.
