To be fair, the last tattoo I got was drawn on the spot after arriving, which turn out to be great, so can understand why some tattooist doesn't have 'preview'.
You want something you can look at a few years down the line and still love it.

I wouldn't get tattooed in anywhere I felt uncomfortable or by anyone who had made me feel uncomfortable. I reckon consultations are as much about seeing if you get on with an artist as chatting about what you want.
It's pretty poor service they've displayed there, I'd have reservations to be honest.
