Talk to @snowy_again, you'll probably have to buy him a nice dinner at Le Reej... I was gonna look into it but nobody else seemed that bothered so I didn't...
I reiterate... £10k... Per year... You'll need to draw up a document showing how bike polo attracts people of all ages, genders, social strata, etc...

Great stuff, this will be discussed at the LHBPA meeting on 6th April. Anyone interested in this or other stuff on the agenda, or want to add something to the agenda have a look at the thread on the lhbpa forum and see u there

Only "recognised sports" are eligible for Sports England grants.
The first step is for polo to form a national governing body. -

I've always thought this but have been told otherwise by somebody who's actually in the charity fundraising game... Anyway, send Chris a PM and get it straight from the horse's mouth... Or not...
Good luck, I'm outta here!

So went down there, it looks worse than it is. The North end has been completely pulled over, and the south-eastern corner has taken the biggest beating. We will need to get a large group together just so we can flip the boards in one motion so not to further damage them. The rest should be an easily fixed. Hopefully.

FUCKING CUNTING WIND
Okay so I have some OSB (boards) but it has now been moved to Streatham as I was being tardy about delivering it to HH.
The 2x4 is at my house in 3m strips.

There is power but it's about 30m away (under the timer-stand) so you'd need an extension.
I'm working tomorrow and I was free Friday but have been roped into doing a bank holiday shift of 10-4. Can come down afterwards.
Also free Saturday.

got friday off...and a drill with a kick...

I am around tomorrow and have a drill,we will only be able to sort out the south east corner. The north side will only be able to be done with at least 8 people lifting simultaneously in my opinion.

I can help out this weekend not Friday. Got drill screws circular saw and extension. My van won't fit sheets of osb. This really needs a proper fix. Can we fill the corners with ballast? We can make the nets so we can lower them fairly easily. Concrete blocks would be good.

A resurrection on easter Friday or Monday? How fitting. I can probably come along tomorrow at a set time mid afternoon if you need people to lift simultaneously but am working Sunday and Monday.
How did you guys manage that?
Anyone who can give me some information?
I´ve tried it in Vienna but it´s difficult because BikePolo is a "combination of hockey and cycling", according to the viennese sports organisation, which means we either have to ask the hockey or cycling federation. Went to the cycling federation and had the impression they were "trying to put obstacles" in our way.
I realize things may run differently in London but maybe you have some helpful info.
