Nah, matter of fact it's a good idea to have one bigger on the rear as you got more weight there, 25/28 work well and most defintely won't fuck up the geo.

I wonder if the smaller size caad10 have a different fork? Will have to check the website to see if there's a rake difference between the bigger one and smaller one.

I have used small pieces of serial box to shim the dropouts for now, have a generous 4mm gap now.

Almost there now:

-17 arx pro stem, slam that stem cover, with a tiny spacer under the stem because I didn't have a tall enough spacer to put above the stem without having to use 2.

Changed the front tyre for 23mm as 25 was rubbing (on my wide rim wheels, measured 28mm width). The 23mm gp4000sII measures 25.2mm

Needs Another matching bottle cage and TI bottle cage bolts and stem bolts.

Maybe acetone the stem and seatpost for stealth, and perhaps stealth the cranks, maybe a fully black arione r3 or lighter.

Loving the bike so far, feels comfortable and rapid at the same time!

If that the Cannondale carbon seatpost, then they're already quite light.

The seatpost was about 216g, the new carbon one was 175g, once I'd cut it down, 147g.
115g saved on the saddle and post.
Saved about 50g on stem and expander bung.

If you don't race, you can make some slight weight saving by opting for a 11-23 cassette and a 48t chainring instead.

ignore scoble. 11-23 on a compact is fast enough for most and light enough

I have speed play TIs but no cleats, don't want to spend £40 on new ones!

I'm too heavy for 11-23 at the moment, need to lose more than the weight of the bike...

Forum peer pressure has meant that I've now got a Hollowgram on the way!
Also have Chinese toroidal carbon clinchers with Novatec SLs and cx Rays being built at my LBS and then I'm banning myself from spending any more.

Time spent procrastinating with Looks is time spend riding sub-optimal pedals.

How deep are your clinchers (ooerr)? We're going to end up with pretty similar bikes...

I was contemplating speedplays because I've had knee surgery, so perhaps I'll give them a go.

I went for 50mm deep, toroidal rims. Looking forward to seeing what the fuss is about!

I'm probably gonna have a spare pair of cleats you can have for £20+postage soon if that helps swing things, speedplay is the future
