We've noticed a 50% increase in cats here quite often lately. The one on the left often lives 2 doors away but has been good friends with one of ours since kitten age.

It's probably still mites. All vets are expensive. Pets are expensive.

So last night was our first with Mia, a few little meowwwwwws at 1am, 4am and 5am but as soon as she was called she stopped - perhaps an anxiety thing as it's all new to her?
Pretty impressed really, was expecting a very noisy and disturbed first night but she was good as gold...hopefully she'll remain so!

Until she starts bringing you presents at stupid o'clock. Then you'll regret having a bundle of trouble. :-D

Any preferences, or shall I just package up the first three I can get hold of?

Does anyone know of the best way to remove cat urine from a sofa cushion?
I've come to terms with my garden being used as toilet but one of the local cats got into my flat and took a shit and pissed on my sofa. I think I'm gonna throw it out unless anyone has any good advice....?
Your choice if you want to get a specific breed of cat, but a lot of common breeding practices involve inbreeding which attracts a whole host of health issues. Anecdotally speaking you can end up paying a lot of money and end up with a cat that's going to cost a lot more in ongoing care costs.
Before you get a bred cat, I strongly urge you to pay a visit to your local cat/animal shelter just to see what they have there. If none of them appeal to you then no big deal, you've lost nothing.
