Fuck customs/parcelfore though for a £60quid charge on the 870. Gonna have to make a big fuss on the appeals form.

Been thinking about investing in some cranks recently and have a few options -
Sugino 75 Black + Zen or Fiberlyte/MQuadro Aero
M2 - Mquadro Gunmetal or Black Anodized crankset with custom aero chainring
Sugino 75 DD black + fiberlyte chainring
Sugino 75 DD black + MQuadro aero chainring
Im not sure how good the MQuadro cranks would be but they must be decent enough and price wise they could work out to be the cheapest choice for full aero set. I already have a set of sugino 75's on the Umezawa so not keen on option 1 really. Im also very tempted to buy a 75dd set, sell the Zen an invest in a fiberlyte ring or black anodized Mquadro. Opinions anyone?
Mmmm...

Not sure if M2 could make an aero ring for their crankset, as the ring being flat it woldn't follow the curves of the spider arms (knowing they can't shape their rings), leaving a big gap.
Best option could be asking them to do a "sugino aerotrack" inspired crank. -

Fyber-lyte?
http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/fl/bicycle/total%20aero.html
Looks like a full aero 1/8" track ring is a shade over £100 and they do them for Dura Ace Track Cranks -

M2 just have a CNC machine, they don't do fibers :(
For sure you can stick an adhesive but not sure how good it'll be. -

These M2 are hot...

@breso Sorry, could have phrased my last comment a bit better but basically trying to say it can look alright even if the chainring/crank spiders dont follow the curve with each other like your record version. It was one of the only examples of aero to the large gap /curve that looked alright online.
This would be the look im aiming for but in black and less tacky without the logos.

That's perfect then! :)
And it doesn't look so wrong after all, polished and anodised will look ace. -
• #96
Bigger, blacker and without the njs logos etc. will make it look noice.
