Track league requires a Race license. The cheapest way is to get a BC Race silver membership (£40 - £20 NEWCMRA code, -£2 Direct Debit =£18) with a Free provisional license which entitles you to free Single Day Race License for track league, and £5 for a day license to Open events.
However, a single day license does not earn the rider any ranking points with BC. For this you need a Full license.
Thats my understanding and what I applied for this morning, but I'm new to all this so if I'm wrong someone tell me now, please.
