I thought they were the same, apart from the gumwall?

Seems I'm talking bullshit (I've read some reviews that indicated more durable and the extra 30 gram) - but Vittorias homepage is stating the opposite, that SC has more mileage than CX.

I did have to check myself once when I was in danger of wearing full-on Friends of Herne Hill Velodrome jersey, socks and water bottle. I know these things can go too far.

I've got a huge cut right through a maxxis refuse 25c with the tube coming through the other side! Anyone experienced anything like this with them? Can't see how it would happen apart from manufacturing fault or possibly even sabotage.
Anyway, any other recommendations for a fast puncture proof commuter tyre? Really like the refuse up till this happened.

Best summer gumwalls? 23mm.
Open corsa sc? -
• #1314
Yeah, but in 25c. Race tyre, so don't expect huge durability. I tend to get an extended summer out of a pair.

• #1315
but in 25c
-

Flo30s so 23 is more arro on wide rimz.
-
• #1317
but a bigger risk of damaging your rims.
Put 25mm on it, feel exactly like a 23mm but with significantly more comfort and grip.
-
• #1318
You're only using 30mm deep rims, there's not going to be a significant affect, even on a TT bike. If it's a road bike then 100% go for 25c

Just picked two Schwalbe One 25 off the shelf at bikediscount for €31.95 "let's go tubeless." Then went over to the sealant, valve etc. section where I lost my nerve looking at prices and faffing. Returned the Schwalbe Ones on the shelf and bought two GP4000 25 at €34.95 each and an inner tube for €3.40.

Currently any good alternative to Paselas or Schwalbes for 26" tyres around 2.0?

Not seen that before, I'll check at work as we have some Durano Plus hanging up.

How are the Durano plus, good for commuting?
-
• #1325
good but heavy and a harsh ride, I find that normal durano's are fine for commuting, managed to get 8 months out of pair with no punctures 30miles a day 5 days a week
Hmmm... maybe I'll go black. There's still the subtle red panel logo to match the frame. ;) Will 25c give me a better ride than 23c (on Kent's country roads) on a pair of Ambrosio Excellight?
