where you're riding > what you're riding. Always.

Spot on, had some awesome day on a shitty Orbea Aqua in the Pyrenees.

Would a Campagnolo 10 speed derailleur work fine with a 11 speed Campagnolo shifters? I know Shimano is a big no no due to the difference in cable pull, but unsure of Campagnolo's compatible.
If it does work fine, it would mean I only need to get the shifter, cassette and chains.

Anyone seen a Di2 6870 gearset about cheap?
Otherwise it'll be 6800. -
• #4156
Not sure, in theory a mech is a 'dumb' component- so it would work.. but you'd probably have to change the jockey wheels at least.
-
• #4158
Possibly, in theory it should work fine without even changing the jockey wheels, it's usually only required when using says, 10 speed derailleur with 8 speed drivetrain (Campagnolo cages rub against chain).
No harm trying, worst case scenario is getting the Athena rear derailleur if all else fail.

You want 6770?

Nah. But thanks

New Tiagra looks mad decent. And 10 speed.

I can see some winter bikes with stupendous (if slightly long in the tooth) wheels on them.
-
• #4163
Now that's awesome! Curious at what it'll cost, as 5800 already available quite cheap (bought a group a week or two ago for 335,- euro's!).

Came to post that - pretty impressive. I rode a rental bike with 4600 and that worked really nicely but looked rubbish.
On the basis that you can get current 4600 for £225 and Shimano groupsets are getting cheaper, I'd say this is going to be a steal.

105 hydro STIs however.
-
• #4166
I have a pepper mill that looks very similar to that.
-
• #4167
That can't be 105, non series?
-
• #4168
I agree it's cheap but 11 speed cassette and chain still cost a bit more than 10 speed in the long run.

trying to find info on what torque chainring bolts and the bolts attaching spider to crank arm (fitting power meter) and wether I should use loctite at all.
power2max is suggesting i use loctite 243 on the mounting bolts but no idea what torque..
Cant see it on srams site, any ideas? Sram force 22 bb30 crankset.

• #4170
Yes its the RS "105 equivalent" level together with brakes and some centrelock 105 road hubs.
-
• #4171
I use 222 on chainring bolts.

Y'all seen this? All CNC'd and 540g. Expensive at 499€ though.

the name hahah

Could do with a bit more material around the pedal boss, looks crazy thin.

That's a single ring crankset no?
It's may be because it's so cheap, that you simply don't care about it and just concentrate on beating Alberto Condator in India (frnar).
On your #buyer bicycles, you invest time and money on it to make sure it feel 100%, nobody like to feel friction on their brakes when they spend £1200 on a road bike*.
*never understood why customers are happy enough with crap brake cabling on mid-low end Cannondale).
