Thanks for this, it's what I was hoping to hear.
-
• #8757
I see you. You're off well after me.
You might see me sprawled in a heap, advertising to people about the Shiv bar recall..
-
• #8758
I've only ever done TT's on drop bars. If I ever go sub 23 I might build a TT bike.. until then I can't justify the cupboard space.
-
• #8759
You're getting into TT's now? I see another bike in your future...
haha!

sperm hat

Depends how you have your bars set up doesn't it?
-
• #8764
I don't know why, thanks though.

Also arrobarz take some getting used to as they make steering much more twitchy, especially if your road bike has an aggressive headtube angle, so you you'll prolly not go as fast as you're concentrating on not crashing rather than pedalling.
I ride a sweet fixie lopro with bullhorns/pursuit bars and like @dan I've said I'll go to more aero once my fitness justifies it.
Sub 24 = Disc, because wom
Sub 23 = Aerobars
Sub 22 = Pointy hat
Sub 21 = No fucking chance, ever -
• #8767
You've got those in the wrong order.
-
• #8768
SUB 24 = NO FUCKING CHANCE EVER?
bit harsh.

haha I am retiring from buying esp after the Sora/claris epiphany ..
Will do some of these TTs on road race bike with compact cranks for the lols. The way I am looking at it is little more fun than doing solo laps around Richmond after work.
Wondering if I should sign up on RiderHQ or EOL.
@fizzy.bleach I've only ridden to Hillingdon from home (SW18) never from central so not sure about Uxbridge road. I'll be riding from W1; we can go together if you are thereabouts.

I've just looked at that course, and remembered why I didn't sign up to the race....
I scared driving on that road, let alone going on a bike on it....
-
• #8771
You get to race me, the greatest cyclist ever to live (in this house, right now), on fUxbridge.
-
• #8772
I am having decent practice atm on Indian roads
-
• #8773
Wom is more desirable than speed.
-
• #8774
What's wrong with it? No worse than most London roads is it? He writes after spending a week in a sling..

Sounds good. I used to ride from central to Shepherd's Bush once a week. Looks like a big extension of that route.
@amey I'll probably do one at some point - but most available Wednesday evenings are going be spent at the track this year.
