Also arrobarz take some getting used to as they make steering much more twitchy, especially if your road bike has an aggressive headtube angle, so you you'll prolly not go as fast as you're concentrating on not crashing rather than pedalling.
I ride a sweet fixie lopro with bullhorns/pursuit bars and like @dan I've said I'll go to more aero once my fitness justifies it.
Sub 24 = Disc, because wom
Sub 23 = Aerobars
Sub 22 = Pointy hat
Sub 21 = No fucking chance, ever
I'm thinking about testing my legs for the first time this year (road bike, no TT) but will need to find something closer to SE London that I can ride out to after work. Out of interest, on a road bike is it daft not to use clip on aero bars or are you at such an aero disadvantage that you're only really racing yourself anyway?
