  • For realz? I guess I do run a 130mm stem on my CX bike and the same on my retro singlespeed utilitarian do everything slowly twenty year old mountainbike. Plus if I paid 400 quid I guess I'd guess I'd get most if not all of it back if I did have to sell it. Plus it would help with my new commute, plus it would help with strength training plus... Oh bugger it I'll text him and see if 400 quid gets it

  • To be fair, track bike in general tend to be longer than the top tube suggested, so you probably end up riding with the same stem length as your CX bike.

    Only question is whether you're happy with the short headtube enough to ride it.

  • 54 center-top seattube is all good - the 76° steepness prolonges the top tube to a quite long front-center measurement of 566mm.

    You'll fit fine with 140mm stem and setback on your seatpost - take it for a spin and collect the win.
