When I used to run [doing it wrong] a windy race I would duck tape my number to my vest so it didn't parachute me a few mm off course. #marginalgains and so on...

I've seen others use clear tape wrapped around the whole number and tape under the number but I never bothered.

It's all about nopinz these days anyway.
