Hey guys,
seems like there are a few of us registered to this event and there are a few who already completed in previous years. Can you help me please as I'm a newbie to this. Currently I'm searching for accommodation but the price range I'm willing to pay - what I find reasonable now - mean hotels too far from the start.
The only thing reasonable is a camping about 14 km away with bungalows on offer: Camping Village Orlando in Chianti
The best camping is on the football field in Gaiole, it cost 20 Euros for the weekend last year, about a 2 min walk to the centre of town, a really good atmosphere, there's a marquee and clubhouse/bar so the only time I was ever actually in the tent was when I was asleep :)
