Put the bigger tyres (2.4's) on the transition and the rigid forks from @BareNecessities. They lower the front end by about 50 mm and steepen the head angle accordingly.....I'm giving it a thrash this morning in the windy rain, and will see if it is 'krampus like ' enough for me to keep it....or sell and buy a Krampus!

The TC finally finished, 48/19 a bit spinny but great for adjusting back to fixed after couple months of absence. Rides smoothly, #LoveAlu4Evaa

Nice man. Looks good!
That RIH is giving me bare grief.
Bottom bracket isn't British threaded, fork threads are shite. Seatpost isn't advertised size, fucking stupid

You can go through eBay resolution and say it isn't as was advertised and you might end up with a partial refund.

Yeah I know is well weird, he got both of those things wrong tho.
Was going from the original listing! Bought another British threas GXP bottom bracket to use and it's doesn't fit at all. Is no prob cus can use it as a spare for my other bikes just a little annoying. The headset struggles to screw down onto the forks.
Don't worry about it man, just a shame that I can't get it built up.
If anyone has a few bottom brackets of different sizes I could try that would be amazing??

Came across this message,
Unfortunately, we can't process a return because the payment method that you used isn't covered in the seller's return policy. (In most cases, you need to use PayPal to be eligible for returns.)
You can contact the seller and ask about returning the item to them directly.last time I talked with the seller, he said, and I quote "You got frame for half price so don't complain please. If you not happy you can return the frame. No problem" , and I don't think either @timbre or I wanna go through the hassle of returning a foreign bought frame

• #100519
Yeah fair enough. I assumed you'd used PayPal.
That's a shame though -

Did try searching for this so apols if it's already been discussed to death but...
Can anyone recommend some stiff and narrow (38 or 40) bars for track use? Got some pro vibe 7s at the moment, and they're super stiff and the drop is fine but I can't get on with the hooks. I don't know if it's because I have pretty wide palms or just that I'm used to compact drops, but I'm not into them digging into me whenever I stretch out.
I'm looking for either narrow and stiff compacts - there's lots of stuff on this already - 3T ergonova FTW? Or, bars with a large ergo section, something like this looks ideal, but too rich.
Looking to spend less than £50...

Nah cba with all that. It's a nice frame and will be sick when it's built just all a bit fraustrating.
@Dakin yeah will do
-
• #100523
Rad, what bars are they?
-
• #100524
@timbre I know its long but he shouldnt be able to get away with that kinda shit especially as its through ebay. Hes based in poland right, im sure we can get the frame posted back for less than £25 insured, tracking etc. How did you pay then? im baffled as to why ebay wont get involved with sorting it out.
