Dropped Brian off at the frame builders today, will be a couple of weeks. I have the option of getting it resprayed too, the frame really needs it as its got scratches everywhere and powder coating is shite. I want something cool, obv, like fades but was advised against fluro as it fades very quickly in the harsh Australian sun. Ideas? Don't want to go black again.
Also received this in the mail today! 165mm crabon cranks. Excuse the moody Instagram photo

Oh and what's the benefit of getting a Braze on over clamp style front mech? Obviously you only have so much range with a Braze on but I was told I'd most probably have to use a shim if I were to go clamp on. I've got a mid-compact crank for now but will probably be changing to compact in future

I've decided on yellow/pink/purple fades.. Very similar to this frame below, but majority of the frame will be yellow not pink.
What's a good wheelset similar to Zipp 202s but without the hipster price tag?

So after 3 months Aldo has finally started the modifications on the frame, all that is left to do is the hanger. It will probably need to be replaced or strengthened as the dropouts have been squished and are deformed from cranking it up (oops). Looks like I won't be able to run anything bigger than a 23mm tyre because of clearances - especially under the front brake, Aldo said he can make the fork longer to accommodate but I guess that will take more time and money.
Painting next week!

Also, never ever get your frame powdercoated. Ever!

Too late, my Rourke is powder coated. Why is that? Was it a bitch to remove?

Yeah, he said it was an absolute pain in the ass! it's amazing to finally see the details of the frame with that horrible paint gone!

Have you found yourself a set of wheels for this bad boy? Reynolds are awesome and have see a few on ebay that fidn't cost a arm and a leg. Attacks think are similar to the 202's

I have, decided to go with Ardennes because they're nice and wide and I'll be running 23s. Will invest in a carbon wheelset when winter is over!

Treated myself to a black CK headset because a silver one would just look too out of place on this build. Hoping it will be rideable before the weekend.. Going to pay a visit tomorrow, hopefully the frame has been painted!
