That's the kind of thing which could have been done really nicely on a 5-axis mill, instead of being horrible lashed up from 4 separate parts.
Fuck it 7 axis. Might aswell fill the front room. :oP
The seatstay angle adjustment is what it is, and welding the chainstay bit on surely saves loads of wasted metal and tooling.. imagine time taken to mill from 18mm steel plate! Edit - also belt drive?
Maybe they're cheap and don't want to make geometry specific track ends?
