Was this SBDU built?
-

W number is Worksop and the 8 is 1978 :). No its not SBDU, but the next best place. Put together by some talented guys when I was 18 years old.
Have you an idea on price?
Shaun

I think you have something stuck in your spokes?
-
• #12
Yeah, it's a flyer of a event 2014 Alley Cat in Kaunas city, Lithuania.

Isn't 400 gbp way too much to ask for this on this forum? It's only 531 not 753

• #14
I want more to trade than sell my frame.

raleigh tracks are very rare and will be pretty expensive
hilary stone has one for sale £695 -
• #16
I still think this might be an SBDU build.
Hilary at times as crazy prices on stuff and, in fact, that frameset has been on sale on his site for quite a long time now. Albeit that one is 753 whilst this one is 531 and Hilary's is track whilst this is a road frame.
Surprised he hasn't lowered the price. I guess he has time to spare and can wait until someone takes the plunge :)In my opinion £400 is a fairly good price (if it is SBDU)?
(one sold for a similar price on eBay) -
• #17
Definitely not SBDU the serial number confirms it isn't.
-
• #18
yeah you're right, forgot the SBDU team was only in Ilkeston.
So, well, yeah...£400 tad high price.
-
• #19
Would expect to pay less than half that...
£400 more of a shop retail price range -

By the serial number, this frame is made in Worksop (Carlton). Is it a big difference between "W" and "SB"? "W" where Professionals have been built, and "SB" where team bike frames were built.
