I got the builders to install sky points in all the rooms as the building has a single communal dish.
I booked the sky guy to turn up as close to the moving date as i could (before i moved in). He turned up about 4 days after we moved in and it took him about 3 hours to connect everything.
If your points are already installed and wired correctly, it should only take 45 mins.
Soul
Tax bands took nearly 6 months for my new build.
Internet took 3 weeks (BT had to activate the line).
Sky took 1 week. Sky cables were installed in all the rooms (at extra cost to me) but they hadn't connected the cables to the shared dish.
New builds are great...
