So, newer sneak Volvo V70 with less miles, or a slightly older 2.5T or even a T5?
Looks like I can get a 130k miles T5 from '05, or a 7k miles sneak one from '06 for similar monies

To clarify - I'm not a car nut in any sense. The key reason for getting it is we need i bigger car, comfy over long drives, reliable and hopefully fairly cheap to keep going. Being decent on petrol is a plus, but we don't drive enough for it to be a major point.
So, with that said, low milage sneak version sounds good no? But then again, a bit of power under the hood is tempting...
