I think Gebhardt do 3/32 chainrings in that BCD size but they are hard to find

Mainly due to having a 1/8" chainring up front...in a difficult 135BCD size too. I think Gebhardt do 3/32 chainrings in that BCD size but they are hard to find. Running a 48 up front and am considering going 48 or 49 with 17, 18 or 19t rear freewheel (still need to decide a ratio so might use some cheapie shimano freewheels.
Would different brands move less? I understand that the distance between the inside plates is the same, but I wonder if the plate shape of different brands would affect chain lateral movement on the freewheel teeth.
Ultimately, the ideal solution is a 3/32 ring and chain as you say.
