Nothing wrong with the tyres. I've only asked because I was looking for knobby tyres like that in 26 x 1 1/4" and Kendas are quite slick compare to these.
I have got a top nut that was new until I've just tried on a frame fitted with a head clip and it works.
It looks nickel plated and stamped Made in England and a 30 which I believe is the number of tpi of the old 31/32" head clips.

They did come with the wheels yes, and they are scwalbe. There not perfect but it seemed silly to change them to my more russbish Kenda 26 1 1/4 tyres just for the sake of it. I may get some nos tyres if any come up that are better/more suitable.
The top nut would be 24.61mm internal apparently!
