From using a macbook for the last 4/5 years, I'm actually more comfortable using a trackpad then a mouse. My experience with the magic mouse was a bit iffy at first. Because is is so flat, you don't really grip it, your hand kind of just perches on top. After a while you get used to it. Haven't tried the large trackpad but if it is similar to that of the MacBooks then I'm sure it would be great.
