Yeah, that's understandable, but I was mainly concerned about some reported issues of the 1/8" chainplates rubbing on the body of the freewheel on a white industries ENO.

Guess it depends on number of teeth, and possibly how much the movement annoys you, but not a problem with 18 or 19 tooth ones.
The chain will be able to move from side to side, which I found slightly annoying... I guess different chains could cause problems?
Why have a 1/8th chain anyway? Think of the weight saving (rotational weight too).

3/32 is smaller than 1/8, so the big chain will fit over tue smaller (in width) teeth.
The other way round won't work.
