headtube angle does not determ track geometry, it's meaningless without the fork (35mm rake).

Just here to complain again, Bianchi Proto in Max tubing with Campa Record/ Athena Mix, mint condition for 250 Euro got snatched away from me (too slow again). Continuing the search, although I think it will be hard to find sth as good as that Bianchi.

@edscoble 72.5° with a 35mm offset fork is going to be quite slow, Look put a 43mm fork on the little L96s to quicken them up a bit. The T3 came with a 43mm fork too, as does the T4 with the same head tube angle:

Regarding L96, traditional size of a bike 51 and 54 has traditional track geometry of 74.5 degrees HTA, don't tease the clever guy named @drøn.

So, these just arrived and whilst they look and spin lovely I do realise I may have been blinded by price and not really considered the spoke count. 18/20 seems pretty low for 80kg rider + occasionally heavy bag commuting every day through London's famous London. What do you reckon re their strength, having ridden them? For the price it's not a disaster if they don't last forever, but would like a few years out of them if possible...

If your bag weighs 20kg, you're up to my weight and I ride the 16/20 spoke Shimano RS80s off road.

wide rim, bigger tyres and lower pressure will help.

Mine still ride great, just trued the rear a bit due to hitting a pothole badly yesterday.
