  • Oh well.
It seems my arse and saddles just don't go well together.
I have been faffing around with my saddle position to reduce the pressure on soft tissues and I can't seem to find a proper position.
I have ridden a Fizik Arione VS for the last half year. it seems to fit the width (I have the sitbone width of a little child.. 9cm c-c), but due to its straight shape and in spite of the channel in the middle I am getting pressure.

I normally set up the angle straight (with a spirit level) and find myself sliding forward on the saddle or with the tiniest bit of nose-up and find myself sitting on my soft spots.
I have dropped the saddle height, which was some relief, and the saddle setback is set correctly (according to the knee-plumbers line-pedal axle method).
Any suggestions? any narrow saddle, that doesn't require a 100% aero position, doesn't put pressure where it doesn't belong and doesn't cost much?
