To be honest I didnt care at the time. I've grown to hate road clinchers*. Half of me figured if I ride home I'll screw the rims and then have to buy some lovely tubulars.
(* I get pinch flats and rim blow offs 10x more than punctures YMMV)

I'd say over half of my punctures are pinch flats. Not running too low pressure, just hitting things. I might go back to tubs for summer riding.
