I'm getting a new job soon, which is a major milestone for me, do anyone know a tattooist in London that does a great woodcut style tattoo, like this?
Would get one from Lisa Orth, but she's in LA.

Have you ever heard the one about you can't get nautical tattoos unless you are a sea captain?

Is the only way to fix blowout to cover it with thicker lines or add something else to the design?
Think it was my fault that it happened - it was a tattoo above my ankle and for some reasons my leg twitched a few times during the session... Rob didn't say anything but I am pretty sure it somehow affected the needle...

He used to run a shop called Physical Poetry in Hyde Park. I worked with his ex wife, and she had cracking ink...

Thank (and @lucyh too), he's quick to respond too, and have a slot open up this weekend (quick!).
so nautical tattoo with a bit of colour seemed possible.

A bit of colour?
Are you going to subscript your nautical woodcarving style tat with "I'm the fucking boatiest cunt in town me"

Was that the one on Hyde park corner?
-
• #9818
Aye, although I'm going back some; 2004/5 ish?

Yeah back when I first started getting "proper" tattoos. Got some work done by a fella called Tacho around that time, told me meet him at HPC , thought it was going to be there but he was staying in a house just up the road where he had a studio setup in his living room. I then went on to get work from Diego, also a home studio at the time, they then joined up and got a pretty successful business running next door to diegos house in Hyde park. Memories.

nautical tattoo
If you're getting a boat tattoo from someone near Hyde Park, then I think it's only fitting that it's one of these boats:

I'm obviously not an expert, but I really like the stuff that this girl does:

Pretty sure someone must've done that already.
Got me thinking, a landing craft would be more apt (great grandfather build them for D-Day amongst other small shipyard).

Fuck! You are the boatiest cunt in town after all.

I wouldn't get it myself, thats for sure. Daring.
Going home over easter, planning to get some trad work done. Starting my left arm now, Eagle, Ball and chain, possibly a lady and a rose.
Been doing some flowery stuff on my insta as of late, feeling the russian vibes
