Yeah.. you just need to be able to throw down between 550-800w on all the cobbled sections to make the selection. I guess at Flanders you need to be able to put out 1000w+ repeatedly to stay in touch on the climbs.
Fwiw - while I can't see Cancellara winning any more monuments, you can guarantee he'll be in the mix. I would like it if he proved me wrong though.

In the latest issue of Rouleur, there is a long interview with Johan Museeuw who makes the point that Roubaix requires less explosivity than Flanders, so as you age your chances in the former diminish faster than the latter.
I'd think the same applies to MSR.
