• I could only see one piccy of the downtube, that looked pretty bad.
    Sensible choice and not seeing the rest of the damage is bin it, on-one have some cheap alu road frames on sale so a new frame could be had cheaply.

    On the other hand, leaving the UK shortly anyway....... but without seeing the whole damage, i might go for sensible commuting only, no kerb hopping or sprinting, forget long training rides, just pootle to work and back again and keep an eye open for cracks, thats assuming the frame isn't bent and tracks straight.

    Would be safer to get a budget frame replacement.
