Not only was it the best looking, there are still plenty of decent ones around.
The difference you get from paying 6k to 10k is huge.

@bodieanddoyle - see if you can steer the mrs towards an MGA twin cam. Might as well make this thing play for you instead of against.

Would have likened Speszialeyezd more to Ford or Vauxhall myself.

Good shout - this could work well...

They are apparently more temperamental than the panzer!
You'd only want one for the rarity. I'd go for a 1600 and not poo myself every time it gets fired up

Sweet --I reckon I can top this.
Goodwood members meet yesterday - 20 mclaren f1s in a demo qualifying session and a classic 911 race. Oh, and the first Ferrari.
Amazing. I'll post some pics when i get back to london.

Dad picked up mum's new car. 2.0TFSI in the end, I think I mentioned that he was looking at S4s. Still fairly rapid...

Are there any slow Audi's? My brother had a 2litre diesel (My old man and I always referred to it as the Russian Mafia staff car) and it was suitably quick.
When he lived in Cardiff, he left Wankworth Manor (M&D's gaff) in Essex just after midnight and was sat with his feet up in his house just over two hours later.
Apparently the M4 is riddled with cameras...

I learn't to drive in my Dad's MGB on Wisley Aerodrome when I was 14. Fricking great times (though I did keep trying to get the thing to donut/drift which it wasn't having any of.)

Fuck! That must've been today.

Have we already seen this fairly crazy twin engined Volvo?
Oh each engine is also compound charged too (turbo and super).
-
• #22699
Yeah, the quality of the work done so far would put me (very, very firmly) into the "happy to watch from a distance" camp with regards to that Volvo.

Is he planning on putting a bulkhead between the rear engine and the driver at any point, or is the risk of being covered with fuel/boiling coolant/hot oil considered less of a problem than the rough welding? Speaking as a master of rough welding, I know it when I see it...
The E39 was definitely the best looking M5
