Ideally heading to Primrose Hill in t'mornin. Does anyone have a spare set of viewing glasses.... or a welding mask? I've been hunting around all day to try and find some.

weather looks ropey.
does the top of primrose hill not have a line of trees to the east, maybe obscuring the best view (as i'm thinking the sun will still be pretty low at 9.30?). decided to head to the east side of canary wharf, realised theres a clear view east there and it's on my way to work. I will have coffee if any other forum-goers are about.

Total greyvercast skies at present here at Alexandra Palace.
Reminds me of that Black Adder line:
To you, London, celestial events are just something that happen to other people.Hopefully will clear up.

primrose hill = rugged
the solstice rides go to primrose hill so there should be a good view of the sun
gonna be there for 8am and hang out till it's all over
there should be a good number of people out to watch it, some didgeridoos some drums could be a nice free festie type atmosphere
