Got my Kris Holm laced up over the weekend but failed at trying to fit the Knard sans tube today.
I presume the tyre has been at the bottom of a big pile as it likes to sit very flat ie with the beads together and a fold in the centre of the tread.
I'm hoping that once it's been inflated and ridden for a week or two that it'll hold it's shape a bit more and thus will seat more easily.

Nice! Still running those bars at full width?

Yup. Feels ace but am a bit worried I might find I don't fit between some trees!

Don't suppose the picture in the bike rack was taken at the UEA in Norwich?

I tubelessed up my Knards (fnar) on Rabbit Holes using one layer of 50mm wide electrical tape, then the Surly strip, then a split tube, then lots of goo and a compressor. I'm not sure what the electrical tape does, but omitting it resulted in a tyre that wouldn't hold air overnight.

My Cannondale in SS mode. Personally, I not overly enamoured with single-speed on MTBs. If you have to cycle to the off-road bits you end up spinning like a motherfucker, and getting nowhere. I was 32x18, but then added 34x16 dingle-speed, which improved things a bit.
