They are Argos forks original to the frame, I believe they still make them so its probably worth contacting them.
First update, got the wheels sorted. They are 36h which is slightly irritating as far as weight is concerned, but the wheelset is still only 1393g, didn't cost me too much, and I shouldn't have any problems whatsoever with stiffness or durability.
I have tyres and a Columbus Minimal fork in the post.
