I've met with theory that Miche hubs were/are made with some design flaw, that when lockring is tightened, hub body beneath it compresses and fucks up the bearings. So my guess will be driveside.

Not sure yet, bearing puller is at Le Manfriend. Well bearings cost little...hope its not flaw you think it is if so I better get a box instead of 1.
On the upside first wheel I ever built (with a little help) and still perfectly true ^=^
And the brake levers in spares box don't fit bars I need them on. I thought computers were bad... :)

Miche hubs is fine, as long you do it properly.
Seatpost however...

Buy novatec, comes with bonus of being able to use a proper lockring...

I think you are just unlucky.. I already have a Primato hub on my commuter for 3 years or so. No problems whatsoever and still very smooth..

Tempted by Mavic Ellipse wheels atm...
...turn the Gazelle Bumblee ;)
It's a super easy fix, just...strange. Perhaps it's the grotty rotty NI climate.

Expander/bung for a 1" carbon steerer?
M:Part do one, my experience of their stuff isn't great.
Deda Elementi also do a 1", but I can't anyone who stocks it.

Assuming you get on with the hood shape and doubletap, then I don't see why you would hate it.

SRAM red or Record carbon... Sophie's choice or what.

Looking into various options currently...
Specialized Romin / Taupe
SMP of some sortSomething with a cutout I'd imagine as I seem to get on well with them

Question: What is a good cheap brake lever (not one with hood, but top of bar) with road pull?
Diatech Gold Finger is the first thing that comes to mind, but these not cheap... :)
I tried out the Charge Hob Tektro somethingorother ones, but these don't fit over a road bar.

Looks nice, enjoy!

Went from an Avatar to a cheap TRK Selle SMP...felt good, then went to a Selle SMP Pro and happy days. No discomfort at all.
Trying a used Spez is the most economical option, if you find it's not quite right, I highly rate an SMP. I didn't even have to fiddle with it, right in one go.

these look like a 31.8mm clamp, and I think you can make them work as primary levers
or dvl is selling a dirty harry here https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/263589/#comment12131374

Lever position and bar tape need work and the wheels are too shouty, but otherwise it's actually quite nice.
-
• #100272
Bar tape needs work?
The wheels are being destickered
"actually quite nice"...guess that's almost a compliment laced with feigned surprise!

In joke?

Cheers, I think the SMP pro is probably what I'll end up with - I actually quite like the "odd" looks and it's kinda got a "Concorde Nose!"

Your bike share the same name as a ridgeback kid bike.
non drive side or drive side? Mine's the exact same...
