  • Pretty but it looks like it could gather mud on that shelf behind the bottom bracket.

  • Good point.

    Hmmm...

  • OTP Chinese frame init?

  • Odd, the TCX A1 has it too?

    Bit less pronounced.

  • Join team Talbot - get all the clearance you can eat

  • Are you doing crabon now then?

  • It's bespoke crabon if you pls.

  • ooooof

    so sandy

  • Anyone used Panaracer Gravel King 28mm tyres? From what I've read, looks like these could be a winner. Looking for some 28's to use for road and dry dirt rides in the style of the classics. Will be on the CX biek!

  • Nope, but just finished setting up some Schwalbe One tubeless for similar shenanigans .

  • Also looking at those.

    126 tpi / 270 weight.

  • Any 28mm tyres run at slightly lower than normal pressures should be able to deal with such things. That being said those appear to be getting good reviews and are cheaper than equivalent Paselas. Might get a pair for the road bicycle, I'd run 32mm on a cross bike.

  • Pretty lightweight! You'd think they should be able to stand up a beating, seeing as they're described as Gravel racing tyres.

@J.Dennis I'm looking at narrower tyres in the grand scheme of phasing out my road bike (building up a road disc wheelset), I think the 32mm version have knobbles!

  • @biarittz, @Howard, @Doctor_Cake and I went to see Benedict Campbell's 'For The Love Of Mud' at the Barbican last night.

I'd definitely recommend seeing it if you like or are interested in learning more about cyclocross.

  • I was also there, it was fantastic, though I thought it gave a little too much prominence to the American scene, all that 'keep cross weird' stuff is so boring

  • Really enjoyed the film, and I quite liked the compare and contrast between the way the sport has developed in different places. I thought it was very well shot and edited.

Helen Wyman was very impressive, she's got a clarity of thinking about her sport that it's quite unusual to hear from an active professional athlete.

  • I was there aswell. Thought it is a great documentary. The old footage of guys offroading on penny farthings was abit of a find!

  • sportive wanker / image thief

  • Is that kit trying to copy team Sky?

    .

    Trololol

  • What is a good intermediate tyre for the bridlepaths in summer?

  • A file tread will cope with most summer conditions, unless your riding during a deluge.

I've used the Vittoria XN and the Clement LAS, the latter has more volume and grip.

  • Schwalbe land cruisers, heavy, rolls well on Tarmac with enough grip off road to make it fun.

Used to be the go to tyre for the three peaks. Now a little out of favour due to lighter alternatives.

  • Continental Cyclocross Speed

(if you like conti tyres in general)

  • thanks all
