Just trying to keep the period correctness.
Back in the late 80's, this bar tape was all the rage...

Happy to re-tape for the new owner if that is a dealbreaker

I think any new owner can do the re-taping, at the price I doubt the bike will hang around for too long, great commuter/pub bike
