I have a 1987 Cycles Fossé geared racer going spare.
It is made from Columbus Aelle steel with Super Vitus dropouts. White with gold lug pinstriping - all other colours are stickers. It is meant to be a replica of the famous 1986-7 LOOK Bernard Hinault "La Vie Claire" (which was made in Reynolds 753) and Cycles Fossé, a local french bike shop used to produce these replicas to suit wannabe racers on a budget.
The bike is in good condition for its age, a couple of scrapes and marks on the paint but certainly no dents or dings. It would make a great daily ride. I have replaced the brake cables as they were sticky, I also changed the bar tape and both tubular tyres so it is ready to roll.
Frame: 56cm square frame (centre to centre, top tube and seat tube), white columbus Aelle steel frame (Super Vitus Rear lungs) with chrome forks - all colours are decals in line with "La Vie Claire Team TdF replica"
Groupset: Full Shimano 105 1050 2x6 speed groupset including bottom bracket,
chainset (170mm), front derailleur, rear derailleur, brakeset (hoods are still supple, cables are new),
headset and brake cables.
Wheels: Shimano 105 Uniglide hubs (the ones with no lockring) and Mavic "Speciale Course" Tubular rims - new Vittoria tubular tyres (glued)
Cockpit: 110mm ATAX quill stem & Guidon Philippe drops with new bar tape.
Dear all,
I have a 1987 Cycles Fossé geared racer going spare.

All in, a great bike ready to ride. Size wise, it is set up for me at 5ft10.5 (179cm) and would suit a an inch either way (5ft9 - 6ft).
I've also priced it really kindly at £150 so I don't have to start at £200 and price drop for 5 weeks...
Come and take it for a spin, it is kept indoors at my office in Gresham Street EC2V 7NQ.
Cheers
Vince
