its worth getting new bearings of a good quality, since theyre really cheap, 50 for like £7.
dont bother reusing the old ones, despite looking perfectly round they probably wont be, good bearings are ultra precise to an extreme degree. thats the sort of thing you want to be using. it should help with smoothness.
