Indeed. It is not the river. Am rapping self across the knuckles accordingly for not having noticed the details until I was on location where I thought the pic had been taken - not having the time to go to the correct location.

Old: Tate sugar refinery from behind LBNewham's swanky offices
New: sticking with our sugar industry related heritage:

Will hairs be split over that?
I hope not. -

Trying to think of a good clue, and failing. Those on the subterranean ride many years ago will remember this one, the street's name suggesting how locals once fished in the (now buried) Fleet that flowed alongside.
Start trawling. Take the bait! Who's going to tackle it?
Ok, no more fishing puns, you're probably still reeling from the last time...

Excellent, indeed it was once the largest false teeth factory in Europe. That dubious claim to fame is now held by Liechtenstein apparently.

Old: Big Mother, by Stik. On the side of Charles Hosking house in Acton. Supposedly the tallest graffiti in the UK. Drawn last year to highlight the need to build more social housing. More information here.

New: Bicycle mechanic, as seen very close to another, even less salubrious form of social housing.

As an aside, I should think West London tags go down better in the BMW tag of BMW thread.
On the way to the old tag I almost ran over small child, who ran into the road when his not-so-yummy mummy wasn't looking. The last time the name Jonah was screeched so loudly, the Old Testament got its best story.

For the new page. I've tried searching but can't find anything on the mural.

The bicycle mechanic shown is young, though the mural isn't. And if you can find sails without a ship, you can probably find the new tag.

aha! If no one's got it by this afternoon I'm on it

This was a bit of a tough one as most online references show the old mural
Old: Windmill mural Lyham Road, Brixton

Well found, I'm sure it didn't take too much sleuthing though as the clue would have lead you there pretty quick. It had been in the back of my mind as a possible tag-location for ages, there used to be a pretty sketchy tunnel leading there which would have made it a bit more fun but I was surprised to find it gone when I went to take the photo

Love Eastern Promises. Apparently when filming, Viggo walked into a local cafe in full make up with all the Mafia tattoos, and this elderly couple bolted out the door soon as they saw him...

That would apply to the previous tag. Seriously doubt the reflection in the new tag would help anyone much.
