  • Leaving the country soon, so have to clean and get realistic about projects, thus a little clean out...
    All pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/johnwolfedotcom/sets/72157650898850790/

Sugino Zen 50T - silver, very good condition, looks barely used - £50 Sold.

Sugino 75 BB - good condition, bearings are good, no pitting, but some corrosion on axle (I assume it could be polished off easily) - £40 Sold.

    MKS Chain tugs - 5mm, vgc - £12 Sold.

    OT:
Nikon Coolscan IV - This is a great film scanner, I wish I could keep it but I don't use it enough to justify it. Since it doesn't come with the individual neg scanner or the mounted slide scanner (can still do transparencies unmounted, though) - £90? Sold.

    Freecycle
Open pro to generic fixed/free - Broken spoke, another one bent, pretty scuffed and scratched rim, but smooth bearings, clean threads...maybe a good project for someone who wants to learn wheelbuilding? Pretty cheap to fix otherwise, too Gone.

  • And as if by magic (https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/264256/#comment12154398)

    Dibs SG75 BB please.

  • Will the nikon coolscan work on - MacBook Pro with Software OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)?
Or am i right in thinking it needs to be older system version?

  • Coolscan is a bargain!

  • Dibs MKS chain tugs please.

  • @BigH For the coolscan (sorry I should've mentioned this in the post) it doesn't come with software, but the software, to my knowledge at least, doesn't work on modern operating systems anyways, though you could check the nikon site. I used vuescan, but there are other third-party options as well.

  • SG75 BB - dibsed
    MKS Chain tugs - dibsed
@chak it's really a great scanner, every time I use a flatbed with 120 I miss just being able to feed it in...

  • dibs zen please

  • Apologies for the ignorance, I'm interested in the scanner. You say it's missing the individual negative scanner, is that for scanning individual frames?

Can it scan strips of 6 frames of 35mm or 3 frames of 120?

  • The scanner only scans 35mm, 2-6 frames in a go. If you want to do a single frame, you need a special adapter, which is not included. In typical use this is not much of an issue because you just make sure you cut your negatives so that you have at minimum two frames per strip.

  • Dibs on the coolscan, PM coming your way now.

  • SG75 BB - dibsed
