I'm off to chain reaction (my local lbs nice staff) with that cog, fecker ain't shifting.

    Admitting defeat

  • This seasons steed.

    Dedacciai Nerissimo frameset
    Chorus EPS groupset

  • This looks awesome! What's the plans for it?

  • Really feeling the spring coming. Still needs some tweeking and a couple of component swaps.

  • my Bertin race in BP...

^ wooo nice bike, stange stem btw

  • 24h black low flange track hub, available now?

Am I going to be limited to Novatec?

  • Trying to work something out in my mind and wondering if anybody has any experience with it.

I live in Ghent, which sucks balls for riding due to cobblestones everywhere and tram rails also everywhere.
So I was thinking of converting old mtb to singlespeed, but was wondering if a front porteur rack would work with a suspension fork...

  • I don't usually like gears but that looks like a weapon. #iwould

  • I'm very curious to see how this will turn out Gaston_Fr
    I like this a lot!

  • Nope, get a cheap rigid steel fork

  • A page of awesome things!

  • But it's finished !!! What more can i do ? it's ready for BP...; )

  • I received a NOS Cinelli Pinocchio stem today. I excitedly went home and put it on my bike only for the wedge bolt to immediately give up in the alan key region. It wasn't even tight enough to not move in the steerer. Did I do something dumb? Did I accidentally order the stem du fromage? Either way, I cant just use another wedge bolt as it has a sleeve on the original which I can't get off, without which another bolt is useless. I'm a bit dicked off to be honest.

  • I thought you're going to show it built (full bike).
You probably don't know but I love steel road frames (and o looooove NEMO frames) and as soon as I saw your post I start to imagine that frameset with wheels, groupset, etc.

  • IIRC @apollo had the same issue with one from Planet X - he will be able to advise...probably.

  • well remembered Vince.....@Thoma it is a piece of shite...the red bolt thing is basically fashioned out of warm Camembert

hope you didn't pay more than £20 for it... http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/STCIPIN/cinelli-pinocchio-quill-stem

  • The red bolt is just a cap hiding the actual bolt below it though.

  • i have a pinoccio stem, no problems at all, i put grease under the bolt head, red cap what 5awyer said.

  • I looove nemo tooO

  • That's where I got it from. I've faced hardier warm camembert in my time. I shall be contacting them with a piece of my mind just as soon as I've satisfied my sudden craving for a ripe wheel of cheese.

Thanks Apollo and Vince. Did you try returning it, Apollo?

  • Which is great if you can get the cap off. I never got that far.

  • I think I got a refund for it....it was a while ago...

  • Warm camembert...made me smile :)

Cheese is good, cheese quality metal...not so.

  • During winter months, I've put a lot of effort into a 1984 Colnago Super frame. Got it back from the painters a couple of days ago. Can't wait to build it up with classic wheels/stem/seatpost and Athena 11sp groupset!
