You're right that racing isn't commuting/sportive, but a skinsuit is really just a Jersey and Bibs combined, people have no problem riding around in two separate items but there's a huge stigma around the one-piece!
I don't understand why, I get the same nagging doubt even when putting one on to get muddy.

What's the real difference between this and a racefit jersey/bibs set? People commute in race stuff all the time, I don't get everyones hangup with skinsuits* **
*must note I'm biased as I race cross in a LS onesie
** Probably wouldn't commute in it, I'm a walking contradiction, fence sitter.
Edit: Just saw you said Sportive... which is in all intents and purposes, a pleasure commute.
