Trying to work something out in my mind and wondering if anybody has any experience with it.
I live in Ghent, which sucks balls for riding due to cobblestones everywhere and tram rails also everywhere.
So I was thinking of converting old mtb to singlespeed, but was wondering if a front porteur rack would work with a suspension fork... -

I received a NOS Cinelli Pinocchio stem today. I excitedly went home and put it on my bike only for the wedge bolt to immediately give up in the alan key region. It wasn't even tight enough to not move in the steerer. Did I do something dumb? Did I accidentally order the stem du fromage? Either way, I cant just use another wedge bolt as it has a sleeve on the original which I can't get off, without which another bolt is useless. I'm a bit dicked off to be honest.

I thought you're going to show it built (full bike).
You probably don't know but I love steel road frames (and o looooove NEMO frames) and as soon as I saw your post I start to imagine that frameset with wheels, groupset, etc. -

well remembered Vince.....@Thoma it is a piece of shite...the red bolt thing is basically fashioned out of warm Camembert
hope you didn't pay more than £20 for it... http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/STCIPIN/cinelli-pinocchio-quill-stem

The red bolt is just a cap hiding the actual bolt below it though.

That's where I got it from. I've faced hardier warm camembert in my time. I shall be contacting them with a piece of my mind just as soon as I've satisfied my sudden craving for a ripe wheel of cheese.
Thanks Apollo and Vince. Did you try returning it, Apollo?

Which is great if you can get the cap off. I never got that far.

I think I got a refund for it....it was a while ago...

Cheese is good, cheese quality metal...not so.

During winter months, I've put a lot of effort into a 1984 Colnago Super frame. Got it back from the painters a couple of days ago. Can't wait to build it up with classic wheels/stem/seatpost and Athena 11sp groupset!
^ :)
I'm off to chain reaction (my local lbs nice staff) with that cog, fecker ain't shifting.
