Hey I'm kinda new to the forum, so sorry if this has been explained before, but what's up with the chain slack on the fixed gear bikes? I always thought there had to be no visible slack but with about 1cm movement in the chain? Might be wrong there though.

Fr: meens my rocky english is precarious, thanks to keep that in mind.
So
More your chain is stretched over you will have friction; it depends if you want to have a easy track stand or go fast and be safe for the transmition.
find the most tense point by turning the transmition.
Set and tight the pinion side bolt and you center your wheel with the other side.
Have a perfect day.
Thank's guys !

The frame mainly, I love being able to see the brazed welds, I just like the look it gives it (plus the steels anodised from the brazing process). I was really just using this picture as a reference for the hubs because I'm building up a wheel set using them (tange star hub) and I couldn't find any other pictures.

This bike is being sold for the owner in my LBS and the guy in the shop tried to get some info on it, he called up this museum in Italy that apparently deals with a few sanvido bikes and they offered £1500 straight up without seeing the bike (as long as it was an original) have you guys seen anything from sanvido? Apparently sanvido was a famous Italian cyclist ages ago, who then went on to make bikes and I was told he had a team on them (a bit like merckx?).

Haha - quite.
Yup, it's just that the pic isn't doing it any favors with the non-matching helmet and chain on the small ring.
