If I were doing tubs I would use Tufo tape. Only heard good things and seen people install it in ~30 seconds. Seems a lot less messy although theres probably pros and cons of both

How much glue will I need for 2 28" tubs? Will a cheapo 30g tube of Mastik be enough or should I get the big pot? I don't envisage much more tub useage in my future.
