For Sale: Medium Pompino (polo bike)

Hi all, after months of procrastinating and never had the time to give polo another go, my beloved polo bike is up for grab.

• Medium Pomp F + F in baby blue colour + On-One Smoothie Light haedset (beaering smooth) F + F in very good condition.
  
• Old wheelset not very true but smooth bearings, the back one could do with some tightening + 38c Specilaized All Condition tyre in front and 35c marathon Racer tyre at the back, both in good conditon, back one is practically new. 16t Shimaon freelwheel at the back (worn but still some life left)
  
• Paul Duplex lever + Dia-Compe v-brake set
  
• Prism BMX crank 25t, 175mm arm lenght + metal flat pedals
  
• Thompson 50mm stem + riser bars (will have measure lenght) + Oury grips
  

• Thompson seat clamp + condor basic seatpost + Charge white saddle

• 2 fairly new polo mallets (good old fashioned yellow heads) and 2 balls (1 red & 1 pink)

I would like £270 for the lot. Not willing to split at the moment unless all / most parts have buyers.

The pics ain't showing a seatpost and a saddle, but it will come with a condor silver basic seatpost and a brand new white Charge saddle. SPDs will be replaced by some normal flat pedals.

661 white medium elbow pads, cosmetically might not be perfect due to storage, but it's practically brand new - £SOLD (pics on request)

if you do split, and not saying you should but if you did i would dib the paul duplex lever

I did think about swapping that to a cheaper homemade dual lever, but I just don't have the time to swap. You could find me a buyer who won't want a Paul lever and swap it?

So anyone want it? It needs to go back to a polo court with a rider who will actually use it for what it's built for.

IIRC you used this for a couple of months before you went for your knee surgery? So the bike is practically brand new, no?

I know, when I was "fishing" in the beginners' thread, a couple of people expressed interest...

Most parts ain't brand new - I bought the F+F 2nd hand for relatively cheap and it was very new coz the original owner didn't like the paint job so bought a next years model or sth... If I remember correctly, he only rode it for a couple of months.

Most other parts are good condition 2nd hand from here, mainly from other polo players, so I think the price sounds fair.

And I might have another knee surgery coming up, so seeing so many bikes in the flat will only upset me... I am also selling my mum's bike if anybody's mum needs a bike!

Bike still available. Elbow pads provisionally sold. If no interest I might convert it back to a normal singlespeed/fixed. But I would rather see it used on polo courts.
